CEREC same-day crowns

CEREC is an innovative digital system that enables us to design, make and fit a custom crown in just one day. Your dental restoration is complete in a single visit, with no temporary fillings needed. The CEREC software creates an incredibly accurate model of your tooth, allowing us to design your crown to your exact specifications.

The crown is manufactured in our practice from ceramic material, and colour-matched to your existing teeth, using an on-site milling machine, and fitted into place. In some cases, the process can be as fast as one hour in total. CEREC can save you precious time and is completely safe.

CBCT scanner

We use the CBCT scanner to capture highly accurate images of your mouth and jaw, enabling us to plan your treatment in great detail. It is very useful in dental implant treatments, as we can see into your jaw bone and assess your bone quality to ensure you are suitable for treatment.

The CBCT scan is pain-free and fast, with the results able to be viewed straight away. The detail given in the scan also minimises the risk of any errors during treatment.

Intraoral camera

This compact, handheld device allows us to explore even the most challenging-to-reach areas of your oral cavity, providing a detailed, real-time view on a monitor. Beyond simple observation, the intraoral camera captures high-resolution, full-colour images of your teeth and gums, which are invaluable for treatments like Invisalign and complex restorative procedures.

These detailed visuals not only aid in creating tailored treatment plans, the camera’s ability to magnify and illuminate enables the early detection of subtle dental issues, such as incipient decay, hairline fractures, and the initial signs of gingivitis.

Microscope dentistry

Using a microscope enables us to see the tiniest details in your tooth at greater magnification. This advanced technology is incredibly precise and accurate, so we can identify any issues or areas of concern that may otherwise have been missed.

Microscope dentistry is used to great effect in root canal treatments, as the detail enables your tooth to be treated without the need to remove excessive enamel or structure.

Airflow technology

The advanced technology of Airflow offers a swift, safe, and highly effective dental hygiene treatment. It meticulously removes biofilm and tartar buildup from teeth, and effectively addresses stubborn stains, lightening your smile.

The system operates using a precisely calibrated, high-velocity stream of warm water, bicarbonate, and compressed air. This controlled spray enables access and thorough cleaning of areas that are often inaccessible with manual tools, ensuring a significantly deeper and more comprehensive cleaning experience.

Designed to be gentle and non-invasive, the Airflow system prioritises patient comfort. Typically, a single appointment is sufficient to achieve noticeable and transformative results.
